Clean, Painted and Cycled

GCH takes pride in our ability to completely cycle any type of grinder we offer for sale. We provide you, the customer, with a fully functional machine tool. Our staff meticulously cleans the machine; removing all the old paint, scale and grinding build up. The machine is painted using high quality paint to ensure the appearance you expect from your purchase. GCH also provides complete mechanical manuals as well as electrical schematics.

Reconditioned

Grinders Clearing House’s experience and knowledge allows us to purchase machines that are in good to very good condition, however over time items often become worn or damaged. Through our reconditioning process, every function of the machine is thoroughly inspected. Any part or component that proves not to meet GCH specifications is replaced or repaired to assure "you" a quality machine tool.

Rebuilt

At Grinders Clearing House we provide a full rebuild package.

• The machine is taken down to the bare casting.

   •  All components are checked and indicated
   •  All Filmatic and spindle bearings are cleaned, and adjusted.
   •  Bearings that will not perform to O.E.M. Specifications are re-scraped and flaked, and matched to the spindle
   •  Bearings (roller, taper or ball) are replaced with new
   •  Hydraulic pumps are rebuilt
   •  All hydraulic hoses, and steel lines are replaced with new.
   •  All bearing surfaces such as slides, ways and mounting surfaces are indicated, scraped and flaked.
   •  All covers are restored to new condition
   •  Faulty electrical components are replaced with new.
   •  All wiring throughout the machine and panel are replaced
   •  Then machines are painted the customer’s choice of color
   •  The machine is reassembled and realigned
   •  We then tool the machine and test grind your parts, if required.
   •  All rebuilt machines carry a 1-year warranty

Remanufactured

Grinders Clearing House is a premier remanufacturing facility. When we remanufacture a grinder, we do it right. Machines remanufactured by GCH go through a very extensive process. This process only allows for new components to be used. We only re-use the basic castings.

   •  Each Machine is dismantled completely to the bare casting.
   •  All ways, slides and moving surfaces are precision hand scraped and flaked.
   •  All of the spindles are ceramic coated and ground.
   •  All Filmatic bearings are provided new and precision scraped, and matched to the new spindle surfaces
   •  Bearings, roller, ball and angular contact are replaced with new matching precision sets
   •  All hydraulic valves are replaced with new
   •  All steel pipes, hydraulic hoses and fittings are replaced with new
   •  All new hydraulic pumps, filters and motors.
   •  New electrical, motor starter and fuse blocks
   •  Panel disconnects, wiring and transformers are new
   •  New NEMA 12 electrical enclosures
   •  GCH can provide new PLC and CNC controls
   •  GCH can provide new control console color CRT and push buttons
   •  Complete auto cad schematics; electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic.
   •  New auto lubrication controls, new lube blocks, steel lines and fitting
   •  New motion control devices, servos and steppers if quoted
   •  New precision ground ball screws and nuts
   •  New grinder tooling , if purchased
   •  New automation for loaders and unloaders can be quoted
   •  New gages for in process and post process can be quoted
   •  New auto wheel balancers can be added
   •  New constant surface footage spindle drives can be quoted
   •  Special load monitoring devices can be added
